Preserving the unique charm of Barcelona
Preserving the unique charm of Barcelona
We connect lovers of modernism with exceptional properties
As protectors of Barcelona’s historical heritage, we are dedicated to preserving and promoting the architectural beauty of the Quadrat d’Or, in the central part of Barcelona’s Eixample.
Together with our team of architects, interior designers and craftsmen, we restore and sell architectural treasures located in royal estates from the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
Our portfolio of exclusive properties offers a unique opportunity to live in the heart of the city, surrounded by history and elegance.
The art of living history
With more than 10 years of experience and almost a hundred successful comprehensive renovations, we perfect the art of combining tradition with innovation.
We honor the history of our heritage, respecting the architectural value of classic estates.
We restore each original element using the best artisan techniques. We use high-quality materials and finishes from renowned brands, ensuring timeless value and durability.
We make each original element, such as hydraulic floors, coffered ceilings and leaded glass windows, come to life in our hands.
A unique legacy that will transcend time.
The secret that blooms under our feet
At the beginning of the 20th century, the modernist architect Josep Puig i Cadafalch designed a four-petal flower that captivated Barcelona.
This is how the panot de flor or Barcelona flower was born, a novel tile design created to decorate the carriage courtyard of the Amatller house.
Such was the magic of this flower that it soon spread throughout our streets, adorning everything from modernist courtyards to the busiest streets.
Its beauty and simplicity became a symbol of our Catalan identity, a silent witness to a time of splendor and creativity.
Today, this flower continues to bloom in our hearts, forming part of our brand identity and reminding us of a legacy that transcends time.
It is the footprint of a dream.
The mark we want to leave in a new chapter of this story where you too can be a protagonist.
Barcelona Timeless Architecture
A tribute to modernist architectural heritage turned into a masterpiece
Learn the story of the founder
The unique opportunity
Long shadows were cast across the buildings on the Rambla de Catalunya when Xavier Gil, in the midst of the hustle and bustle of the city, stopped in front of the discreet façade of number 41.
Xavier Gil
Founder of Eixample Singular
He didn’t know it, but behind the windows of that stone balcony was a hidden treasure: a 355-square-metre modernist apartment, located on the main floor, which radiated the essence of a golden age.
“It looked like just another building, but when I crossed the threshold, I was completely transported. I was dazzled by the beauty and complexity of the architecture. I was fascinated by every detail, the materials and the history hidden behind the walls.”
That meeting was not a coincidence.
It happened one day during the summer of July 2012 when a relative had asked him for help selling a property. Xavier, fascinated by its modernist architecture, happily agreed, without knowing that at that moment he was embarking on a new adventure.

A shared fascination
After sealing their agreement with a handshake, their curiosity about the property grew.
The moldings, the stained glass windows, the hydraulic floors…
Each element was a work of art.
“The admiration of potential buyers confirmed my intuition: this modernist heritage aroused a shared interest.”
Finally he found the lucky one who would enjoy such beauty, Laurent, a French client.
From the small to the immense
With the desire to preserve and share this architectural culture, Xavier decided to dedicate his life to promoting modernism in his hometown. This is how Eixample Singular was born in early 2014, in a small 14 m2 office.
Together with his partner Ismael Gil, who directed the business strategy, Xavier took charge of the operational part, committed to his great mission: to connect lovers of modernism with unique properties and to carry out restorations that respect the origin of each building.
Time passes very quickly when things are good and a few years later he had already brokered 57 sales and completed 11 comprehensive renovations.
From its humble beginnings in that modest office located on the first floor of Calle Provenza 286, Eixample Singular has grown exponentially.
The team expanded and the need for a larger space prepared to house the growing project became evident.
It was 2017 and the chosen treasure was at number 12 Paseo de Gracia, in Casa Rocamora. From here we continue to contribute the value of preserving Barcelona’s architectural legacy, hand in hand with a firm made up of Catalan professionals deeply in love with their city, whose local knowledge and passion enrich each of our projects.
The story continues
Today, with more than 150 purchases and sales brokered and a hundred comprehensive renovations carried out, Xavier walks the halls of Casa Rocamora, with a feeling of pride for everything he has achieved.
Every time you enter one of the restored homes you feel a deep connection with the past and the craftsmanship that has made it unique.
The memory of that first time in 2012 when, one ordinary summer day, the spark ignited a passion that would accompany him for the rest of his life.
“Modernism transcends mere architectural style. It is a way of life, a way of perceiving the world. Each building is a work of art that deserves to be preserved and shared with future generations.”
With each restoration, Xavier and his team write a new chapter in the history of Catalan modernism.
Perhaps one day you too will be the protagonist of these stories, acquiring a unique architectural gem and helping this legacy to endure for many more years.
Rocamora House
The place that inspires history
The Eixample Singular office, in neo-Gothic style with important modernist details, was built between 1914 and 1917 by the Bassegoda architects.
Antoni Rocamora was the owner of the most powerful soap industry in Spain. Today, the three buildings that make up Casa Rocamora are considered the largest private architectural complex on Paseo de Gracia.
Each space in the office remains a source of inspiration and elegance that keeps the team connected to its most transcendental value.
Come and visit the office at Casa Rocamora and feel how your soul is imbued with history.
We are waiting for you at Paseo de Gracia number 12.
